How do you look up arrests in Missouri? ›

The Missouri Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS) is Missouri's one-stop website for all criminal background check needs. This site is administered by the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Criminal Justice Information Services Division, the central repository for all Missouri criminal history files.

Anyone can access open records. Closed records are records which resulted in a finding of not guilty, charges that were nolle prossed or dismissed, suspended imposition of sentence after probation is complete and arrests after 30 days where no charges were filed or the case was refused.

Arrest. — An arrest is made by an actual restraint of the person of the defendant, or by his submission to the custody of the officer, under authority of a warrant or otherwise. The officer must inform the defendant by what authority he acts, and must also show the warrant if required.

Yes. Members of the public can access information about recent arrests ("arrest logs") from a local law enforcement agency's website for free. However, anyone requesting a copy of an arrest record or report from such agencies must pay the associated fee, which differs by agency.

To determine where to find recent arrests, start on a local police department's website. Other law enforcement agencies may also be useful, but choosing one largely depends on the level of crime a person has been arrested for.

Google's removal policies can be very strict and they will likely not remove your mugshot unless you violate specific guidelines. Keep in mind that this request for removal is only applicable to Google search results. If the mugshot is still available on the original website, it will remain online.
